GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ Gloucester Township will appoint a council president and council vice president during Monday night s reorganization meeting at the municipal building, 7:30 p.m.
Under Gloucester Township s form of government, members of council are elected by the public. Council members then choose a council president and council vice president from among their membership.
There were no elections in Gloucester Township last year, but the nominations of council president and vice president take place annually. Orlando Mercado is the current council president, and Tracey Trotto is the current vice president.
