power lines fell on train tracks, passengers stuck in one train for hours. others forced to wait for hours. the power line fell between the silver spring and glen forest stations. and the domino effect from uniyogs station to montgomery county. john, what is going on now? reporter: well, right now, crews are on the scene here, trying to repair the power lines that was tossed all over the place earlier today. it was a frightening scene as passengers were struck on a train for 2 1/2 hours. we know that metro has had their share of problems in the past. but today s incident was not their fault. actually it was mother nature. it was a huge explosion. we jumped and turned around. and there was an arc, a huge arc of electrical fire in the sky. reporter: from her office building, valley price witnessed mother nature s fury. a tree fell into the fouer lines over the spring street overpass and silver spring. the power lines caught on fire. as we backed up, a guess a surge fr
