A Very English Scandal, with the new series, aptly titled A Very British Scandal.  According to Variety, the pair will play the Duke and Duchess of Argyll during their well-publicised and extremely acrimonious divorce in a joint series. The series will air on BBC One in the UK, and on Amazon Prime Video in the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.  Loading the player. The actors will play the warring couple whose divorce became one of the most turbulent court cases of the 20th Century as it became fraught with forgery, theft, violence and drugs. The series, titled A Very British Scandal, which will come from the same team behind A Very English Scandal, which dramatised the Jeremy Thorpe saga that rocked the UK government in the 1970s.
