Before 5 00 this morning. It has burned about 150 acres near the 405 freeway. Authorities say that it has also destroyed as many as six homes in bel air where homes sell for millions of dollars. Mandatory evacuations are in effect for that area for some perspective this is not far from sunset boulevard and ucla. Despite the strong santa ana winds fire crews were able to use air drops to try to bring it under control. The latest fire is also threatening the worldfamous getty museum. These are days that break your heart but they also show the resilience of our city. Two other wildfires in Los Angeles County together have burned 118,000 acres. Then there is the wildfire burning in Ventura County. Nearly 2000 firefighters are on the fire lines. So far that fire is believed to have destroyed hundreds of homes and has burned 65,000 acres and as of tonight there is still zero containment. Cristina rendon is in Ventura County with more.
