DFAextends application for foreign service exam Philippine Information Agency 25 May 2021, 00:38 GMT+10 CALASIAO, Pangasinan, May 24 (PIA) - The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) has extended the deadline of application for the 2021 Foreign Service Officer examinations. Anna Bautista, information officer designate of the DFA Consular Office in Calasiao, said the DFA-Board of Foreign Service Examinations is still accepting applicants for said position as application was extended to June 10, 2021. The qualifying test is scheduled on August 22, 2021 and for Ilocos Region, the testing center will be in San Fernando City, La Union, Bautista told the Philippine Information Agency. Passers of the FSO examination will be appointed as Foreign Service Officers, Class IV, who must be willing and able to accept foreign or domestic assignments that the Department will require of them, she added.
