While the BJP secured a majority in Uttar Pradesh, Manipur and Uttarakhand, the party said it will also be forming the government in Goa where it won 20 out of 40 seats and apparently has the support of three other winning candidates. In Punjab, the Aam Aadmi Party swept the polls and CM-elect Bhagwant Mann will take oath on March 16. Meanwhile, the Congress Working Committee held a five-hour meeting on Sunday to discuss the party’s performance in the elections.
