For the first time we have video of the deadly officer involved shooting that happened at the cadillac dealership off of autoshow drive last week. Im john huck. Im cyndi lundeberg. Today Highway Patrol held a press conference where they showed us dash cam video and surveillence video that shows trooper david dudley shoot and kill 28yearold javier munoz after a car jacking. High speed chase. And then another attempted car jacking. Fox5s Kathleen Jacob joins us live from the dealership where this happened. Kathleen. What do we know about the man that was guys. We know javier munoz was from glendale, arizona. And police think he was only in vegas for two days. He had a lengthy criminal history that included robbery, kidnapping, running from police, and violating parole. Hed only been out of the prison system since last december. More than three dozen animals were seized by animal control this past thursday. Twenty one of those. Horses. nat pop horses neighing all of which were removed after a raid on this boarding property on the 1800 block of fairhaven street after animal control reported the animal cruelty. Now the Animal Foundation whove been caring for these animals is trying to track down the original owners. Cancelling the original deadline allison 02 32 were actually working really closely with our partners in clark county. Theyre getting some phone calls from the owmers. As well as phone calls coming in to us. The spaghetti bowl ramp closures begin which means headaches for valley drivers keep in mind, these closures arent short term. The ramps may reopen at the end of february at the earliest. So, heres whats being impacted. Ndot says 24 7 closures are set for i15 south and northbound ramps to us 95 northbound. 115 north and southbound ramps to mlk boulevard. And. The 95 northbound ramp to mlk. Getting around there. Drivers can take various detours. Using surface streets like charleston, lake mead and mlk. Project neon officials are advising motorists to take alternate routes. Her body is still where it was found. On the sidewalk along quartz lane. Close to view dr. Investigators are still on scene collecting evidence. And based off what theyve found. Along with witness interviews. They believe multiple gunshots were fired in the area. Before 1 this morning. A resident in this neighborhood reportedly found this young woman. At least four witnessha come forward. They say after they heard gunshots. A gray four door was seen leaving this neighborhood. lt. Dan mcgrath metro homicide to have a young female just basically shot and dumped in the street is unusual. nia wong lt. Dan mcgrath says this is the 140th homicide in metros jurisdiction this year.
