Let. Kopp is a defendant a person we heard about for some time when this crime happened in hen doctorson. He is 64 years old. Been in jail since july. He is accused of murdering his wife. After his arrest kopp did tell Henderson Police she was in chronic pain. She was battling a number of illnesses that she wanted to die. When he was arrested Police Detectives talked with him and they asked him directly was the shooting on purpose. Was it an accident. He didnt answer and then how do you plead, sir . Not guilty, your honor. You do have the right to a speedy trial within 60 days are you invoking or waiverring that today . I would request 60 days.
