‘Ensure display of call centre number in them to help people register their grievances’ Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy has directed the officials to monitor the performance of the employees of village and ward secretariats, and ensure that the secretariats work efficiently. In a review meeting on the village / ward secretariats on Wednesday, Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy said the ‘1902’ call centre number should be displayed at every village / ward secretariat so that people could register their grievances, and it would help the government in obtaining public feedback. He said the duties of the Sub Registrar should also be carried out by the village secretariats. Engineering assistants in the village / ward secretariats should be imparted training, and tests should be conducted on completion of their training.

These institutions can now continue as general hospitals and extend regular medical services. The state medical and health department, in March and April,  had notified the Government General Hospital (GGH)-Vijayawada, Visakha Institute of Medical Sciences (VIMS)-Visakhapatnam, GGH-Nellore, Padmavathi Hospital-Tirupati and GGH-Kurnool as State Covid hospitals to manage the rising Covid-19 infections, and comorbid patients referred from district Covid-19 hospitals who require quality medical care.

COVID test price at private labs slashed to ₹499 Updated: Updated: Share Article AAA The State government has revised and reduced the price for COVID-19 testing at private labs approved by NABL and ICMR to ₹499 for citizens per kit. The price for the samples sent by the government has been fixed at ₹475. The price charged by the private labs will include the cost of testing, Viral Transport Media (VTM) and PPE, according to a GO issued by Principal Secretary, Health, Medical and Family Welfare Department, Anil Kumar Singhal on Tuesday. The previous price fixed by the government after the revision was ₹1,000 for citizens and ₹800 for the government per test.

AP CM Asks Health Officials To Find The Exact Cause Of Eluru Illness Dec 12, 2020, 08:41 IST AMARAVATI, Dec: 11 Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy conducted a video conference on the cases of illness in Eluru and ordered for in-depth examination and research in every aspect to find out the exact cause of the outbreak.  During a video conference with the authorities, Doctors, and experts from AIIMS, NIN, IICT,CCMB, NCDC and NIV, the Chief Minister said to test water samples, recheck and confirm if the illness is due to contamination of water or not. He said the presence of organochlorine, and organophosphorus is detected in blood samples and it should be definitely found how it happened. He said the state government has constituted a committee and directed to move forward coordinating with the various organizations, agencies, and experts conducting testing on the illness.
