ktvu s alex savidge has been there since 4:30 this morning. where was the victim found and what have you heard about witnesses? reporter: well, there are some witnesses, dave. vallejo police this morning at this point, are not talking about who the witnesses are or what they may have seen. vallejo police are not saying why this elderly man may have been targeted. but we do know that he was found about 5:30 last night inside a detached garage at a home on the 400 block of hichborn street on the west side of the city. that garage had apparently been converted into a living space. we saw homicide detectives gathering evidence there late into the night last night. now, the victim s name in this case is not being released because his family has yet to be notified. we re working with the sergeant to try to get an update on the investigation. this was vallejo s sixth homicide of the year so far. it ss about listen a very busy month. they ve had three homicides already this month
