Earlier this week, we had an exciting look at the future of UMaine athletics that will change our landscape and shape our student experience for generations. As one of the four initiatives made possible by the $240 million grant from the Harold Alfond Foundation, we are going to build outstanding facilities to support our student-athletes, campus recreation enthusiasts and youth statewide â our future Black Bears. Lord Hall Gallery will host a virtual opening for its 2021 UMaine Faculty Exhibition 5â6:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 12, via Zoom.
The exhibition, which runs from Feb. 12âMarch 12, will showcase work by Susan Camp, Wayne Hall, Samantha C. Jones, Andy Mauery, Robert Pollien, Matt Smolinsky and Giles Timms.
The artwork on display will include drawings, photography, digital art, wood carvings and more. The exhibition presents an overview of the research and creative accomplishments of studio art and art education faculty.
