rick leventhal is covering it all live from little falls new jersey. this story over for some but just beginning for others. reporter: absolutely. there are 450 to 500 homes in little falls that are in deepwater. we are right between little falls and wayne. this is the pa s-rbg sack river. it does flood when there are heavy rains. the mayor told me never this bad. route 23 here, deepwater, fast current, you see trucks and vehicles that have been caught up in it, and businesses that are surrounded by bats here. again water here. again, they do get flood here but usually not this bad. with hundreds of homes in water and many of them without electricity there are real terrance about where they go from here. the mayor told me that there are some people that are saying they may not move back into their homes. this could be the final straw here for the folks here in little river and little falls and wayne. things are bad in other parts of new jersey. they have been doing rescues

the governors of each state say it s not about targeting unions. it s about austerity. i m megyn kelly. welcome to america live. right now, lawmakers are holding a hearing on what s called senate bill 5. if passed in the buckeye state, it would do this eliminate collective bargaining for state employees, including those that work at state institutions of higher education. no collective bargaining is what really set them off in wisconsin. it would require public employees to pay 20% of their health insurance premiums. it would implement merit-based pay, which may sound fair to you, but unions don t get merit-based pay. they just get increases based on seniority. the state s governor is looking to change that. john kasich, governor of ohio, is sticking to his guns, saying there will be no bargaining in an effort to close the budget gap. unions say it s an attack on their workers. sound familiar? doug, what s going on there? it looked sparse and then people started to conver
