“The parties confirmed their readiness to expand interaction in rendering legal assistance to the citizens in Belarus and Sri Lanka, in the development and updating of the relevant legal framework,” the embassy said.
The conference brought together representatives of more than 80 countries and international organizations. India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi delivered a welcoming speech at the opening ceremony.
"India has always been and will continue to be our priority partner in Asia. This is the key partner with whom we have developed good relations in all avenues: in politics, economy, and culture," Ambassador Andrei Rzheussky said.
The launch ceremony was attended by Belarusian Ambassador in India Andrei Rzheussky, the embassy's staff, representatives of tourism and hotel business, Indian media and also well-known bloggers.
