A gas bottle has exploded at a Gold Coast cafe, leaving a man and woman in their 20s with significant burns to their face, arms and body.
The injured patients were employees of the cafe, which was due to officially open next week, and they were working on the gas systems in the kitchen at the time of the explosion.
