This family says everything started just before a 2 30 last friday night with an incredible heroic act. He drove off the main street and banged on my door and when i opened the door i was starting to grasp our house was on fire, he just ran up the stairs grabbed my son picked up my daughter and pulled them out of the house. Rita says they have used their fireplace at least three times but on this night the top of the chimney caught fire and spread. The Fire Marshal Office determined a malfunctioning fireplace was the cause. The family says they had just relocated one month ago from qatar and lost everything. We took them into our house to distract them but it was terrifying. Yet, both parents were smiling on camera. We are fine because of our neighbors and the community. I am so thankful. W
