While not as well known as Yenko, Nickey, Berger, Baldwin, or Dana, Anderson Motor Company was seriously into high performance and catered to customers needs by delivering a limited number of cars with Chevrolet s mighty 427 transplanted beneath their hoods. In 1969, Anderson Chevrolet s sales campaign boldly proclaimed, More Motion for Your Money, which was a less than subtle play on words poking fun at the considerably more famous big-block transplant program taking place on Long Island, New York, between partners Baldwin Chevrolet and Joel Rosen s Motion Performance.
