VADODARA/ ANAND: An indigenously developed electromagnetic device is coming to the rescue of animals that require physiotherapy treatment.
The device developed by Vallabh Vidyanagar-based researcher Shreelal Jha and his sons Harshavardhan and Sarth is being used at the veterinary college of Anand Agricultural University (AAU) for providing drugless therapy to animals.
“We have used this physiotherapy instrument for treatment of wound, fracture, paraplegia and in pain management. We found this modality is very useful in treatment of veterinary patients,” said Dr P V Parikh, professor and head of Department of Surgery and Radiology at AAU’s veterinary college.
