It s about a very special population of children and that is foster children, said Amy Travis, executive director of CASA of Kern County. This is a dedicated center for foster youth. CASA is holding an open house Thursday to show the community how the new CASA Clubhouse will serve as a lifeline for foster youth and CASA Advocates.

WILLOWS, Calif. - Glenn County has no intensive care unit (ICU) beds, so how does this impact the region when it comes to the new stay-at-home order rules?
It has been more than a month since Gov. Gavin Newsom imposed another round of stay-at-home orders for California, an effort to combat COVID-19.
“I think it’s important to remain vigilant, you can’t get complacent about it,” said Maureen Bonessa, a resident of the Northern California region.

GLENN COUNTY, Calif. - Glenn County Public Health (GCPH) officials say the county s only hospital has plenty of beds, but admit it is not easy with a staffing shortage.
The county s only hospital Glenn Medical Center, located in Willows.
The facility has 47 licensed beds, 27 patients, and 20 beds available, according to Amy Travis, Deputy Director for Glenn County Office of Emergency Services.
