The grand opening of the new school gymnasium in Scotia was held on Friday, January 26th with school students and staff, and members of the community joining in. It was a celebration five-and-a-half years in the making.
Students at the Stanwood A. Murphy Elementary School and other Scotia residents are now recreating on new playground equipment. The playground is used by students during and after school hours and by many Scotia residents on the weekends and during the summer months.
