Reese Witherspoon has addressed the passing of her Election co-star Jessica Campbell, who recently died at the age of 38.

Election, has sadly passed away. News of her death is just starting to hit the press, though her family has revealed to TMZ that Campbell was found dead on Dec. 29 at her home in Portland. Though a full autopsy was reportedly conducted, an official cause of death hasn t yet been divulged to the family. She was 38 years old.

Campbell s cousin, Sarah Wessling, confirmed the news to TMZ, telling the outlet that Campbell died unexpectedly at her home in Portland, Oregon on Dec. 29. According to Wessling, Campbell, a naturopathic physician, worked a normal shift seeing patients at her practice and returned home to visit with her mother and aunt on the day of her death.
