CHENNAI: FMCG manufacturers have increased production of nutrition products by an average of 30%, amid rising Covid-19 cases. This is to mitigate any sudden disruptions ensuring smooth last-mile delivery of products.
For example, Amway India said it has ramped up the production and has increased the inventories for stock keeping units (SKUs) in demand by 30%-35% over and above their annual forecast.
