Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial Gangubai Kathiawadi is based on one of the chapters of Hussain Zaidi’s book Mafia Queens of Mumbai. Alia Bhatt will portray the role of Gangubai Kathiawadi, who ran a brothel in the Kamathipura area of Mumbai and later, several criminals became her customers. She was fearless and also dedicated her life for the betterment of orphans and sex-workers. The statue of Gangubai is still there in the Kamathipura area. NEW DELHI: Cinema halls will operate at 100 per cent capacity from Monday, Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting Prakash Javadekar said on Sunday, while releasing the standard operating procedure (SOP) on preventive measures for Covid-19.
The restrictions put in place due to the pandemic are on the verge of ending, he said.
