2022 Goa Assembly election result, for which voting was held on Feb 14, is being declared today. Goa Assembly polls were held in a single phase and all 40 constituencies voted the same day. The average voter turnout was 80%.
Bengaluru, Feb 24: At least ten Karnataka-origin students are stranded in Ukraine and the state government is working with the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) to bring them back safely, Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai said Thursday.
Over 11 lakh people are eligible to cast their votes. They include 9,590 persons with disabilities, 2,997 aged over 80 years, 41 sex workers and nine transgenders.
