Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam has revised its electricity load norms for residential and commercial uses in Gurgaon, potentially leading to lower bills. The total electricity supply available to a meter, measured in kW, has been recalibrated to mirror consumption patterns, while bills will reflect the minimum amount linked to a load if use remains below a prescribed limit.
As per the revised load norms, for plots with a size of 2 marla, the power load is 6kW for class A cities, 4kW for class B cities and 2kW for class C areas. Similarly, for 2-kanal plots, the load is 40kW for class A, 30kW for class B and 25kW for class C areas.
