Following allegations of booth capturing and an episode of violence within the Madras High Court premises, the election to Madras High Court Advocates' Association were disrupted and subsequently called off.
MHAA told the Court that it would scrutinise all applications submitted by contesting candidates to ensure that the principle of 'one bar one vote' is followed.
