TS youth who holds record for scaling mountain peaks in 4 continents meets President
President Ram Nath Kovind appreciated the achievements of city-based mountaineer Amgoth Tukaram and advised him to make a documentary on his journey in the world of adventure for Doordarshan television channel to inspire the country’s youth.
“Your feat of scaling the highest peaks in the world is not ordinary. I wish you the best of luck in scaling the seven highest peaks across the world and would love to meet you again,” the President told Tukaram when the latter called on him in Delhi on Tuesday.

‘This is one of the best birthdays I could have ever dreamt of’
Union Sports Minister Kiren Rijju congratulated mountaineer Amgoth Tukaram on his achievements so far including scaling the five highest mountain peaks across continents.
The Minister invited the 21-year-old to his office in New Delhi on Monday, which also happened to be the birthday of the young city-based mountaineer, and advised him to continue to spread the message of environment protection. “I sincerely appreciate your courage and conviction against all odds to achieve such stupendous feats in adventure sports,” the Minister said.
