Of emotion on campus. People involved with the investigation addressed the hate crimes that have generated that emotion on campus and in the community. The appearance of a care free dorm area at san jose state was disrupted as news that three white students have been suspended starting today after being charged with hate crimes directed at a African American roommate. Ktvu obtained obtained the Police Reports that shows what the District Attorney called a campaign of hate. The Police Investigation showed the students nicknamed the African American student as 3 5 and fraction. The report showed the students put up a Confederate Flag and wrote racial slurs and posted a picture of hiltler but then the prosecutor said it escalated into violence when the students forced the roommates head into a bicycle lock like this one.
