They were made by his daughter when she was a young girl. Her mother had a ceramic shop and she made them in the shop. Reporter and have been around this family ever since. At christmas time we drag the train and im responsible for one or maybe even two chips taken out of these things. Reporter carline died two years ago in the motorcycle crash and gnomes went outside for the neighbors to admire. Around halloween the pair walked away so frank put the sign up to appeal to the thieves sense of humanity. People are being told to avoid heading to the airport unless they absolutely have to. This has trickled down to bay area airports. Some flights are two hours delayed. A little piece of historic oakland gone with the wind. This huge tree was no match for another nature and her howling winds last night. It is one of 200 reports of trees down in oakland, alone.
