The valley and butte fires consumed 115,000acres. That is roughly the size of new orleans. Now officials confirm at least one person has been killed. More than 4,000 firefighters have been battling the butte fire which is 25 contained after five days. The valley fire close to napa is still raging. It began over the weekend.
