Grandmother the morning of march 7 when a ford fusion jumped the curb and struck the boy, pinning the younger one against a pole. The driver, 29yearold Daniel Morris, jumped from the car and ran away. A large manhunt that day did not locate him, but this morning, officers arrested morris. Hes now in jail and while the public was a huge help, the chp says morris friends and associates were not. Friends or associates of mr. Morris, who possibly had information that they may have withheld, that could be a future avenue that investigators will take as far as potential charges down the road.
