Sr. Ambika Pillai has been key in developing and operating a home for runaway children, since it began in 2003. A 2017 accident resulted in the amputation of most of her leg, but in 2022 she resumed her work at the home.
The India Fashion Awards 2022, by Rajnigandha Pearls and sponsored by Mario Foods, were held on December 13 at the Andaz by Hyatt to honour fashion industry visionaries. The top names in fashion from all around the nation attended the gala .
