TYLER, Texas (KLTV) - Monday morning Smith County reported that a rabid skunk was found in the area.
According to the report, The Smith County Animal Control and Shelter encourage dog owners to make sure they are up-to-date on their rabies vaccinations after a rabid skunk was found in the county.
On Thursday, April 29, The skunk was found in the 3000 block of County Road 313 East, and on Saturday, May 1st Smith county animal control reported that it tested positive for rabies, said Amber Greene, Animal Control and Shelter Supervisor.

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - Illegal dumping is a problem in Savannah. Itâs not something you think about until you can see it around town or even worse, in your own backyard.
That happened to one man in Savannah. He had about 30 tires dumped on his property.
A neighbor saw who did it and reported it to police. But now the property owner is being told to clean up the mess or pay a fine.

CHESTER COUNTY, Tenn. Chester County High School students took a break from class to promote litter awareness on roadways in Chester County.
The students partnered with the Tennessee Department of Transportation, Keep Chester County Beautiful, and Chester County Mayor Barry Hutcherson to clear the county roadways.
“We’re wanting to keep Chester County beautiful, and that’s the goal of having this group come from Chester County High School today,” said Amber Greene, executive director of Keep Chester County Beautiful. “They’re going to help us do the cleanup event and we hope to get a lot of litter picked up.”
