Predawn commuters forced to drive a virtual flaming gauntlet through the busy sepulveda pass. Several homes have been destroyed. Tonight that fire threatens still more homes in some of l. A. s toniest neighborhoods. Many remain displaced by fires as a red flag warning for windy and dry conditions is expected to be up through tomorrow.
