A new series of language courses in Brandon, Man., is helping Sixties Scoop survivors reclaim and strengthen their Indigenous identities and culture by giving them the chance to learn Anishinaabe, Cree, Dakota and Michif.
The festival's events are back in full swing this year after it was cancelled last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Events began July 8 and run through to Sunday.
