Washington [US], May 19 (ANI): Actor-producer Issa Rae, in collaboration with HBO Max and Miramax, will be reviving the Project Greenlight docuseries.
As per Variety, the critically acclaimed docuseries originally spotlighted first-time filmmakers on HBO. The new Project Greenlight series will focus on talented female filmmakers who are given the chance to direct a feature film.
Rae will appear in every episode as an executive producer, providing guidance and mentorship to aspiring filmmakers. The finished film will then premiere on HBO Max. The series gave the well-deserved limelight to first-time filmmakers on HBO and will now turn its focus to female filmmakers who are given the opportunity to direct a feature film. According to Variety, the original series aired on HBO for two seasons between 2001 and 2003, then moved over to Bravo for a third season in 2005.
The
Insecure actress will be featured in every episode and will serve as an executive producer, offering mentorship and championing the aspiring filmmakers featured throughout the show. Afterward, each completed feature film project will premiere on HBO Max.

Bray spring sale starts online Saturday
The Archie Bray Foundation will be having an online spring sale May 1-22, featuring the work of current and past resident artists. Just in time for Motherâs Day, the spring sale will feature a wide variety of ceramic vases, planters and functional pottery as well as sculpture, jewelry and 2D work.
