Wellsville CSD supports area nursing homes
District raises funds in support of nursing home workers

WELLSVILLE Wellsville Central School District employees did their part to support local nursing homes, which have seen an outbreak of COVID-19 cases in recent months.
A “dress down day” to raise funds for area nursing homes was well-supported, and the district was able to donate $150 apiece to the Wellsville Manor, Manor Hills and Highland Park.
“Everybody knows the troubles they’re having, so we wanted the supervisors over there to be able to get their folks some pizzas and stuff like that,” Superintendent David Foster said at this week’s school board meeting. “We’re glad we were able to do that.”
