Pakistan Navy conducted joint drills with the naval forces of Russia and Sri Lanka on Saturday at the culmination of multinational maritime exercise Aman-21.
According to the navy spokesperson, the exercises were held in the north Arabian Sea and were also attended by the aerial assets of the Pakistan Navy and Pakistan Air Force (PAF).
The joint drills represent Pakistan Navy s commitment to promote and balance a safe maritime environment in the region.
7th Multinational Maritime Exercise “AMAN-21” Culminates

KARACHI, Pakistan: Pakistan Navy’s Multinational Maritime Exercise AMAN-21 culminated in the North Arabian Sea on Tuesday with a graceful conduct of International Fleet Review (IFR) followed by spectacular forming up of AMAN Formation comprising Pakistan Navy and foreign warships.
President Islamic Republic of Pakistan Dr. Arif Alvi graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
Upon arrival on board Pakistan Navy Ship MOAWIN, the Honorable President was received by Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi.
The Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs Ali Haider Zaidi, the Federal Minister of Defence Production Zubaida Jalal, the Chief Minister Sindh Multan Ali Shah, the Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) General Nadeem Raza, the Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa and the Chief of the Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan were also present on the occasion.

The multinational maritime exercise, Aman-21, culminated on Tuesday in the north Arabian Sea with a graceful conduct of International Fleet Review (IFR) followed by spectacular forming up of Aman formation comprising Pakistan Navy and foreign warships.
President Dr Arif Alvi graced the occasion as chief guest, Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) said in a statement.

Int l Maritime Conference continues on sidelines of AMAN21

KARACHI (Dunya News) – The 9th International Maritime Conference (IMC-2021) organized by National Institute of Maritime Affairs (NIMA), under the aegis of Pakistan Navy and being conducted in tandem with 7th Multinational Naval Exercise AMAN-21, is in progress at the metropolis.
The IMC-21 is themed on ‘Development of Blue Economy under a Secure and Sustainable Environment: A Shared Future for Western Indian Ocean Region’.
The second Day of the IMC featured eminent international and national scholars to elucidate variety of issues pertaining to maritime security, environment and relevant growth opportunities in the region.

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC), General Nadeem Raza on Sunday underlined that Exercise AMAN 21 will promote Regional cooperation and stability, greater interoperability and united resolve against terrorism and crimes in maritime domain.
Addressing the Multinational Maritime Exercise AMAN-21 is being conducted under the slogan of Together for Peace in Karachi on Sundday, he lauded the professionalism of the participants.
A large number of observers, foreign diplomats, personnel from the participating navies and senior officials of armed forces of Pakistan witnessed the International Bands Display and Counter terrorism demonstration.
