A manhunt has been launched after a prominent East London businessman was kidnapped on Thursday evening. Hawks spokesperson Warrant Officer Ndiphiwe Mhlakuvana said the 47-year-old man was abducted at about 5.40pm by five men while closing his shop in Amalinda. A video showing the businessman screaming and kicking after he was grabbed by a group of men and loaded into the back of a Toyota Avanza, which pulled up in front of his business premises, went viral shortly after the kidnapping.
