People in berkeley packed Civic Center Park at a rally calling for end to the migrant detention camps at the border. Many told us they are simply fed up seeing children and families locked up. Raids in the bay area starting sunday and decided to shift gears. Part of what we are doing today is educating our community about knowing your rights, that you do not have to open the d tf and that warrant has to be signed by a judge. People shouldnt be scared or afraid of of seeing i. C. E. But they shouldnt run. The city says leaders have spent the past few days reaching out to undocumented communities and reassuring them. Yesterday morning. It sparked fires at a couple of homes, gas lines cup tours and those whose homes were spared still have a lot of cleanup to do. All of a sudden, it was a large, rolling earthquake. Everything in my kitchen hit the floor. Picture frames started falling off the wall, everything in my bathroom came down off the shelf. Kids, theyre very scared. Reporter theres repair work also to be done at the Ridgecrest Regional Hospital where some plumbing was damaged and some patients had to be temporarily evacuated. All that cleanup is on tap despite those continuing aftershocks and the fear is they uld cause even more damage. Back to you. Thank you very much.
