Lebanon should keep its school resource officer
I am guessing most everyone in Lebanon knows there has been a significant increase in taxes. I was interviewed by Jim Kenyon regarding the tax issue (“Tax tempest in Lebanon,” Dec. 13). However, after I noticed Kenyon’s column conveniently added in his perspective directly after a suggestion I made, I was slightly saddened.
I suggested that deciding what to cut is the duty of our elected city officials and department heads, not ours. Kenyon then wrote that he was in support of “getting rid of Lebanon’s school resource officer.”
