But environmentalist groups are leading the charge, hoping the new administration will boot the grazing competition on any public lands. More than 70 groups have sent a letter to the Biden Administration’s new Interior Secretary, asking that all livestock grazing allotments that overlap designated herd management areas (HMAs) be canceled.
