Deadly crash. It happened just before noon. At the 69hundred block of northeast 29th street in ankeny. Callers reported a single vehicle rollover accident. First responders found a car pinned between two trees. The female driver was pronounced dead at the scene. A young child who was a passenger was taken to a des moines hospital. None of their names are being released at the hour. Two men are in jail after leading police on a high speed a chase overnight. Des Moines Police arrested 31 year old Zeferino Padilla and 33 year old Felipe Padilla. Both men are facing felon in possession of a firearm, felony attempted burglary as well as Traffic Violation charges. It all started when officers responded to an attempted burglary in the 600 block of park avenue just after midnight. When they got there, two men sped off in a car.
