The mayor says that multiple, reliable sources told her that immigration and Customs Enforcement agents are planning activities in the bay area. My understanding is that this activity is from the civil side. These are not criminal investigations. With that information, the mayor says she felt an ethical duty to share what she knew, her information however, did not come directly from official sources.
