Resolutions were approved:
Naming Beauregard Daily News as the official journal for the city of DeRidder FY 2021-2022;
Approve issuance, sale, and delivery by the industrial development board of the city of DeRidder not exceeding $18,000,000 of its taxable industrial revenue bonds and making application to the state bond commission regarding the Stine LLC project that would build a new structure behind the current store. Dennis and Wendy Stein as well as Jay Delafield addressed the council about the project.
Two ordinances were introduced:
Accepting the dedication of Johnny Joe Lane in the Memorial Park Subdivision (Public Hearing July 12), and
Allowing Allie Trahan and Courtney Veillion to place a mobile home at 325 Ken Williams St. upon purchase of the property (Public Hearing July 26).
