Republican Incumbents Endorsed by Municipal Committee for Township Council in 2021 Elections

The committee voted this week to name the three incumbents as their supported candidates for this year s elections. Kurdyla has been volunteering with the Finderne Fire Department since 1967, and has served on the fire commission for district four since 1978. He also served as co-chair of the Finderne Advisory Group for the Bridgewater Promenade Project, and was first elected to the township council in 2003. 

Fire District Elections Will be In Person

By AUDREY BLUMBERG Credits: Bill Rose February 22, 2021 at 9:00 AM BRIDGEWATER, NJ - The state has announced that this year’s fire district elections, which have been moved from February to April 20, will be held in person, with appropriate protocols being taken for safety. Fire District One Commissioner Bill Rose said official notice was given by the state on the governor’s Facebook page, and they are currently seeking additional information about protocols being required. For district one, Rose said, they usually do paper ballots, so they will be giving disposable pens, and people will put their ballots in a box. And the building will be one way in, one way out, he said.

Fire District Elections Moved to April, Budgets Released By AUDREY BLUMBERG Credits: Courtesy of Bill Rose By AUDREY BLUMBERG January 27, 2021 at 9:00 AM BRIDGEWATER, NJ - The annual fire district elections have officially been moved by the state to April 20, instead of their regular third Saturday in February, because of the pandemic. Bill Rose, commissioner with fire district one, said the budget calendar has remained the same, with the adoption of the budget that will be voted on having to be done in January. But, he said, candidate petitions don’t have to be filed yet, as the deadline for those has been extended until 30 days before the April 20 elections.
