BRIDGEWATER, NJ - The state has announced that this year’s fire district elections, which have been moved from February to April 20, will be held in person, with appropriate protocols being taken for safety.
Fire District One Commissioner Bill Rose said official notice was given by the state on the governor’s Facebook page, and they are currently seeking additional information about protocols being required.
For district one, Rose said, they usually do paper ballots, so they will be giving disposable pens, and people will put their ballots in a box. And the building will be one way in, one way out, he said.
