MOBILES & TABLETS News: Major mobile retail chains in India have reportedly decided to stop selling OnePlus smartphones, tablets, and wearables from May 1. The reason is said to be continued issues with OnePlus, according to a letter sent by the South Indian Organised Retailers Association (ORA) to OnePlus India's director of sales, Ranjeet Singh, as reported by Moneycontrol.
Samsung ended a long-standing distributor relationship with SSK, which is part of the Syska group in March 2023 in Maharashtra, appointing two new distributors — Bengaluru-based ABM Group and Kolkata-based Karuna Marketing, ET reported last year in June.
Samsung retailers in Maharashtra are protesting in Pune over unpaid dues totaling Rs 50 crore, pending for over a year. The dispute stems from a distributorship change in March 2023, causing disruptions and leaving retailers without promised incentives. Despite commitments from Samsung, outstanding claims remain unresolved.
