Mick Herron s novels to star Gary Oldman on TV

The show will also star Kristin Scott Thomas and Jonathan Pryce. Mr Oldman won an Oscar nomination for his role as master spy George Smiley in the 2011 movie Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy, an adaptation of John le Carre’s novel.

Jane Sheldon s performance of Poem for a dried up river combines opera, poetry, physical theatre and art. Credit:James Brickwood Singer/composer Jane Sheldon s Poem for a dried up river is a musico-dramatic setting for two singers and small ensemble of a poem by Alice Oswald describing how a statue of a Roman water nymph made of bone tries to summon up a river .

Jane Sheldon s Poem For a Dried Up River will have its Australian premiere at Carriageworks as part of the Sydney Festival.
