KARONGA-(MaraviPost)-When the witty and experienced coach Alex Ngwira dumped Super League side Chitipa United back in February over unpaid arrears, it all looked doom and bleak for the side.
Rooted at the foot of the 16 team member league with only 4 points to their name after 10 matches and bereft with no ideas and confidence, it all looked like Chitipa were destined for relegation after only two years in the elite league.
As the TNM Super League was forced to go on a break due to the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, strangely the break looked to be a blessing in disguise for the lions of Fort-hill as they regrouped and took on board Christopher Nyambose to spear head their resurrection.
Coach Christopher Nyambose will be in charge of Chitipa United Football Club on temporal basis as the club awaits recruitment of a new permanent head coach.

This is a post-development to Alex Ngwira’s resignation from the team which is anchoring the TNM Super League log table with only 4 points from 9 games. Among other reasons, Ngwira cited accumulated unpaid dues for his resignation.
Nyambose who is currently head coach for Dedza Dynamos in the Central Region Chipiku League will be at Chitipa United on loan since the date for commencement of the country’s regional leagues is still not known.
That Savenda Chitipa United Football Club is anchoring the TNM Super League log table with only a single point from 7 games is a worrisome reality for all the supporters of the club.

The team has never won any single game since the league started this season. This means they have lost six games and the point they have is from a draw. Their recent two losses were against Blue Eagles last Saturday (4 nil) and TN Stars on Sunday (1 nil).
