In southern mississippi a large tornado damaged hundreds of homes in the hattiesburg area. The massive storm hit late yesterday afternoon, rumbling through four counties, traveling straight down one of hattiesburg main streets. More than a dozen people were injured. The governor has declared a state of emergency. The tornado damaged at least six buildings on the campus of the university of southern mississippi.
